My hours are spent largely in quiet solitude. I draw every day in an open second floor within a post-Civil War row home located on the edge of Center City, Philadelphia. Skylight fills the studio during the day making it bright and airy. It is also an excellent place to do photography.

I studied with Linda Sokolowski and Charles Eldred at Binghamton University, and received my MFA from LSU, Baton Rouge. My work incorporates both modern and traditional approaches.

I use acid-free paper with old-school drafting leads that range from hard to soft. I build the drawing carefully and slowly, often making a number of studies before embarking on the primary drawing. I want to have a strong inner sense of the final work before I even start.

I take quality reference photos so you look your best.
